APU 2+2 SUMMER 2019

Hello, I just wanted to start a thread for APU 2+2 SUMMER 2019 cohort. That way we can all share admission experience, interviews, and acceptance. I turned in my application the beginning of January. Anyone else applied for this program and cohort??

I applied for spring and my application was rolled over to Summer 2019. Did you get a call yet for an interview?

No kpavlos my application technically didn’t get sent until February 1st so they should be calling about interviews around the last two weeks of August. Did you get a call already??

Hello just wanted to update they called me and I have an interview March 5th!

Hello loacosta congrats on getting an interview. I ran in to your thread while reading. So you got a call to interview at APU for the May start correct. It's odd some people say they got calls literally within a week of the Feb 1st deadline but when I call my counselor she keeps saying applications are still under review. I know they only have a few spots per term. I dont know what else to do I dont want to keep waiting.

I was told they are now really looking at high GPAs get priority. Before as long as you met the pre reqs and had the minimum GPA you were in. It's getting harder and harder everywhere.

@brizilapolanco yes i got a call for May cohort. Maybe the people who got calls first week of February were people who applied to the previous cohort, somebody told me they were pushed to summer but applied for fall but I'm bot sure. I was surprised I got a call so early though I was told I wouldn't hear something till beginning of February. There is still time I would give up hope yet! Wishing you the best ?

I also got a call yesterday for May covert for an interview which is on March 5th. Locoasta, I see you have an interview same day with me. How is everything going so far, are you prepared?

I am looking forward to my interview can't wait wish it was sooner lol. But I feel ready I've been preparing for this for a very long time now. How about you @chidera2020?? Where do you live, how far is your drive?

@loacosta I heard the interview is really not that bad but I’m still kind of nervous LOL. And I live in Riverside, which is like an hour 39mins drive. Wbu?

@Queenta Daba congrats on your interview! you have it this coming Monday? And no there’s no test.

And for those that haven’t received a call yet, I am pretty sure they are still calling for interviews cause the last time I spoke with my advisor, he told me they schedule interview throughout March so just be patient. Hopefully they call soon
