APU ELM MSN SUMMER 2020

Hello everyone,

I am starting this thread for applicants that have submitted their application for Summer of 2020 at APU for the ELM MSN program. I applied for Spring 2020 but was not invited for an interview. Hopefully this thread can help us get connected, provide insights, and provide a support system. Also, best of luck to everyone.

I received my decision via the portal on Aug 30th! I got accepted to Summer 2020 even though I interviewed for Spring 2020. All I can say guys is don’t lose hope!

Excuse the delay. As soon as you come in, they hand you an article and then ask you to write a summary. Afterwards you wait to be called in by the professor, the one who interviews you. They basically want to get to know you, and they want to make sure you understand what the program entails. The professor asked me questions about myself, my involvement in my community and my church. She laid out the school track that I would be embarking. Afterward they have you sign a paper to make sure you understand that you have to make a $1k deposit to reserve your seat that will go towards your tuition as soon as school starts.

Finally, the waiting game is over. I waited almost a month for the decision. I got accepted into the following term even though I applied to Spring 2020! Regardless I’m excited!

Does anyone know when we would be hearing from them? Maybe for an interview?
