APU ELM MSN Spring 2022

Hello,

I just got accepted to the Spring 2022 ELM MSN program at the San Diego campus. I wanted to create a thread for those that also got accepted for Spring 2022 and hopefully be able to connect with everyone on here.

I honestly was getting constant rejections for the past year or so from multiple schools and finally had a breakdown after my last rejection or two. This just means there's something else for you out there, I'm sure. You got this. Some minor setbacks for that major comeback ?

I was scared to look at the portal but I got a call from my program rep and that’s when I knew. I got in guys, San Diego 2022! ??? do we have a facebook page yet?

I don’t think there’s a FB yet, IDK how to create one....

I have a question maybe someone here knows the answer. Is the BSN portion really done in 2 years? I’m asking because I’m looking over the elm curriculum map and it shows that it’s completed in 5 semesters with 3 semester done within the first year but they’re 16 weeks each semester. How does this workout? Aren’t Summer sessions usually around 8 weeks?

I noticed too and honestly just figured that meant probably a week break between each semester. So non-stop grinding first year. Going to need to mentally prepare for that and soak in the free time prior ??
