APU ELM Fall 2018

Hello Everyone :)

I am looking to apply for the Fall 2018 ELM program at APU. I'll be done with my bachelors early 2018 and finishing up Organic Chemistry before I submit my application. I'm making this post to see where other people are at looking to apply and we all can help each other out if needed. Good luck to everyone :)

@feliciarose56 Congratulations!!! Does anyone know if they notify applicants in alphabetical order? I am also anxiously waiting a response from San Diego!

Has anyone heard about the Azusa main campus yet?? I was told by the interviewer main campus decisions would most likely come out in January but there's a small chance they'll be before the xmas holiday.

And online status?? Is that where you login to your APU portal?

Yes, you get an email saying that your status has been changed to a student..I believe SD is always early to make decisions, and then main campus and SB may be the last.

CONGRATULATIONS @Melphor !!!! Which campus did you apply to? What does your last name start with? Do you think they are going in alphabetical order? So many questions, the anticipation is killing me!

Thanks everyone, hope you all hear soon!

As for my stats, I have like a 3.8 gpa in my prereqs and a 3.2 gpa overall. I also volunteered in the ER at the UCSD Hillcrest hospital for a year and I current work in allergy research as a research technician. I wrote about that in my letter to the dean and I really think it helped out. As for my last name it starts with "B" and I applied to the SD campus. Hope this helps and I answered all you questions!

@Melphor, thank you so much for this info! I feel like there has been a pattern and it's pre-req GPA of 3.8 :( (But I could be wrong!)

I also feel like it's not really alphabetical in order...
