I'm in the same boat and applying to the same location. Today, I had to prove my citizenship with the Financial Aid Office. My application is complete and submitted. I'm just waiting for financial aid to confirm my citizenship. I haven't paid the application fee yet. Have you guys finished all of the prerequisites? I still have to take Biochem, and Research Methods in the Spring.
Yes I have :) Now I'm Just waiting. I'm so excited but I'm a little worried about the cost of the program because its a little pricey.@perfectversec
The best place to take these courses are either a community college like San Bernardino Valley College or at Azusa Pacific University's Online Program (Very Expensive though). I've Already taken Biochem with APU's online program and I plan on taking research methods at SBVC :)
Yes, I will most likely take these 2 courses at a community college - but looking into online courses. I'm also worried about the cost of schooling due to the fact that after the pre-licensure part of the program, we do not receive a BSN. I've read from previous cohorts that it can hinder job opportunities. Most hospitals, as the one i work in, require a BSN. But hopefully we will get lucky and if accepted land a job rather fast. Good luck to everyone with the process and hopefully we all get admitted!
Oh wow really? When I went info session they said after the 15 month pre-licensure portion the program your receive a BSN or maybe I'm wrong?
(Update)I actually just found this on there website.
The Entry-level Master's (ELM) program is designed for students who hold baccalaureate or higher degrees in other disciplines, but want to pursue bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing. The program provides students an intensive three-year sequence of pre- and post-licensure study that enables them to become registered nurses (RNs) and receive a BSN, and also leads to the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a clinical specialty.

I got the program confused with another school. But YES for Azusa Pacific you would receive a BSN. My apologies. I thought I was responding to the other thread.

Hi All!
I am applying this year to Azusa Pacific University (Inland Empire Regional Center) this fall to start Fall of 2016. I was surprised that I couldn't find a thread for Fall 2016 Applicants so I decided start one for us. Here we can discuss/ask about our application or interview process or anything else relevant to this.:)
Hope to hear from you all soon.
