Hi ,I just finished my prereqs and also the core courses (well I just need one more and thats it) I'm applying in september for an RN Ass. Degreee and I'm so nervous, I'm applying to a program which doesn't have a wait list anymore but the acceptance process depends on science courses and GPA, I have 15 points out of 18 but I know there is a LOT of people aplying and they just accept like 50. I know I'm not that bad but I also don't know how good are the rest. Sorry!!! I'm just so nervous. You have helped me a lot beggining with the final desition of starting the prereqs and , I think I just need like maybe stories you have heard, or if you think I have a good, none or maybe chance of getting in for spring. Since the counselor just say "will see, will see" that doesn't help me. Sharing with you is helping since you totaly understand me.
Thanks in advance VB

I am in the same situation. I have to wait another 3 or 4 weeks to find out if I got in for the fall. It is hard to say what your chances are because I don't know how many points other applicants have. 15 out of 18 sounds pretty good. I wish I could be more help. All I can tell you is keep your head up and pray for a good outcome. It is normal to be worried and I would be worried if you weren't. The waiting is the worst. I will keep you in my thoughts and I am praying for everyone that is still waiting. Good luck to you.

Worrying is perfectly normal (to me). I worried the moment I sent off my application and even more when I knew it was time for them to send out the letters.
You never know how things will work out, do your best and it will pay off.
Best wishes to everyone still waiting.

I hope being worried is normal because I am worried too! I am waiting on my letter and have been a nervous wreck about it. It is only natural to worry when the schools are so competitive and you have worked so hard to get to this point.
Good Luck!

Have you thought about applying to other programs in Orange County? As a California resident you can apply to any of the community colleges with a nursing program that you choose. You are not limited to the one closest to your home. Were you aware of that?

I have been worried since my application was sent in....and that was a week before the due date. My anxiety level is SUPER HIGH, and it will only rest when I get an acceptance letter. I even email my advisors 1x a week to ask them about it. The last response I got today is she will email me when the letters are sent out. Now that I think of it, I don't know that anyone has ever been turned away from my school. Ugh.
