Applying West Chester University (WCU) Accerated BSN Nursing Program and I need help!

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Hi everyone!

I am brand new to this forum, but I have been looking at different 2nd degree nursing programs.

I am graduating from Lock Haven University next May 2015 with a bachelors in health science. My current overall GPA is a 3.34 and science gpa will more than likely be over a 3.5 once I graduate. I have taken all the pre-reqs that the program at WCU requires, but I am nervous because I am not sure if I will be able to get into it!

Does anyone know how to application process works for WCU? I was also looking at 's program and am still looking for others, but holy cow! Drexel is super expensive! Even though I would love to go there, I feel like it would put my in a big hole financially. I am currently a single 22yr old female who is a resident in PA. Can anyone help me out or give any advice?

Thanks!

Download the Application and Program guide available from Advance 2 BSN - Second Degree Accelerated Nursing Degree - West Chester University

It is 22 pages and will answer most any question about the Advance 2 BSN program at WCU.

Hello OP,

I hope you do decide to apply to WCU! It is a fantastic school, and its affordability cannot be discounted. As the previous post mentioned, their website is updated frequently with all of the information necessary for applications and can answer a lot of questions. If you are looking to join the upcoming cohort starting in Spring 2015, however, I believe the application deadline is fast approaching. If you are researching in advance, you have plenty of time to make a decision and prepare!

Good luck!
