Applying for VA from NY to Seattle

Hello all,

Was wondering if there is any other person going through the same boat or has went through the same path. My family is currently looking to relocate from NYC to Seattle, WA. Currently, I am only licensed in NYS. Not being licensed in the WA state, would that work against me or the VA does not care.

Also, I find it odd that we are using the form 10-2850a and not the form for application for associated health occupations 10-2850c.

VA only requires a license within the US. The benefit is you can work at any VA location without transferring it.

The recruiter actually called me back and clarify the form is the 10-2850a because we fall under the nursing categories.

Thanks for the clarification. The recruiter said the same thing.
