Applying to RN-to-BSN (academic history requirement)

I'm finishing up my ADN program and now looking to apply to RN-to-BSN programs. All the websites state that applicants must submit transcripts from ALL prior institutions attended. To be short, I want to send in all transcripts except for one where I failed miserably for 2 semesters (drank heavily, now I've been sober 5 yrs). To be honest, I didn't include this transcript for admittance to the ADN program I'm now finishing. Basically, I feel shady pulling this tactic again, but on the other hand I feel that I'll be completely misrepresented if I do send it in. I know what I 'should' do, but any support/help would be nice. Thanks.

I think the possibility of getting yourself into trouble increases if you include this transcript. If anyone from the RN-BSN program actually looks at all the details they'll realize that you never included this transcript on your application to the ADN program. They might not care, or they might try to have your license revoked, just depends. It seems a bit unethical and I know I'll get ripped from other posters, but I think you're much safer not including the transcript. By the way, cograts on 5 years sobriety.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, and I respect your insight. I'm sure this is the introduction to the many 'grey' areas I'll experience as a nurse. =-) Also, thanks for your applause of sobriety, it means a lot.

Include all transcripts. I went to many community colleges over the years and have numeorus AA degrees. When I applied to a nursing school, I forgot one college (I had taken one art class), and they cought it. This caused my application to be invalidated and I had to wait until the next application period. The error was unintential but it cost me.
