Applying for a Masters in Nursing Program

That's a pretty broad question. How long have you been practicing for? What school(s) are you interested in? Will you be working or doing your masters full time? Would you be open to doing your masters online?

Your essay will depend on the school you are applying to. Each school has very specific criteria pertaining to their Graduate Program online. I would start with the schools you wish to attend and check their policies.

I went to school in the US and i have 2 and a half years med-surg experience, i have no Canadian eperience though, don`t know if this matters???, hope not. I plan on applying at York University and University of Windsor as well. I would prefer to do most of my classes online as i plan to be working as well. An exclusively online program would work for me as well.

Do the masters programs you are applying to require reference letters? If so, discuss the masters program with your referees and use ideas from your discussion to get started on your application.

There is an online masters program in nursing I believe at Memorial University if that interests you. This is their website which is kind of difficult to navigate from my own experience http://www.mun.ca/ It has an online program for sure though, because I have seen it and it is based in Newfoundland.

thank you so much jenniesantanapinoy! i looked at it and their requirements seem very reasonable, i`m falling for it! deadline for application is february 15, vs january 15 for most programs!
