Applying for Hospital Funding

I'm applying for some money through my hospital to pay for a couple of ER conferences I'm attending. But, the hospital has been known to be very picky about applications......in particular the wording people have used. I need 4-5 sentences to explain how the conference "will contribute to my professional and personal development." Also "how it will contribute to my responsibilities and career plans as well as the hospital, patients and other staff in my dpt." They're basically just ER related conferences so good sounding statements you can throw my way would be great. Also, I'm a new-grad in case that makes a difference.

What I have so far:

- Will increase my knowledge and understanding of common injuries and illnesses in the emergency department, thereby allowing me to provide better care to my patients

- Will update my current understanding of medical and nursing best-practices in the ER to provide patients with the best care possible

- Can return this knowledge to my department to share with other staff.
