I have been thinking about applying tothe BSN programs at these school instead of waiting for a spot a one of the ST Louis Community Colleges. Anyone ever applied to them and what steps did you take? I have my applications ready to be mailed but not sure if I should contact an advisor first or if I should just send my information in. If I send it in will they contact me? thanks for the help in advance!!

At Chamberlain, I would contact an adviser first, if you fill out the form on their website, an adviser will call you back and set up an appointment. Mine was very good, and went over everything with me ahead of time.
I also contacted Goldfarb, I was sent an email attachment letting me know which classes specifically I needed at my current college, to transfer there. Outside of that I found it difficult to get many answers, and there was no adviser to contact. To apply to Goldfarb you need to apply 12-18 months in advance basically. I was looking at applying for Spring 2011 then (Jan of this year), and was still pushing it with my application according to what I was told.
Ultimately I choose to go to Chamberlain for several reasons, but everyone there was friendly when I visited, and always very helpful! I know already that all my classes that could transfer from my CC will transfer, which was something I was worried about. So I will be done with the BSN program, before I would have completed the ADN program at my local CC.
