I sent out my application to a local LPN program. the "priority" deadline was Jan 31st. I mailed it yesterday, post office said they would most likely get it today (pretty local). I am hoping I am not too late. I mean, Jan 31 isnt THE deadline, just the priority. Still, I am nervous. I registered to take the TEAS exam but they said they would only contact me if that date was full so I hope its not full. I just want to take it and get it over with.
I really wish I was more organized before this. I really didnt make my final decision that I wanted to go to Nursing school until a few weeks ago. I had toyed with it before but got scared and got my Bachelors degree in English. Now I regret it. I listened to too many people who said it would be too hard for me, or too gross, or I wouldnt find a job, etc etc.
Well I went to school to become an English teacher and the job market is the same, if not worse.
Anyway. wish me luck.
