Applications vs seats for VA nurses in Army CRNA program?

To all who have knowledge about the CRNA progam through the VA...It is my understanding that the Army program typically has 50-65 seats and that a few are reserved for VA civilian staff. This tells me that these few few civilian seats are VERY competative. Can anyone fill me in on the process for selection and the apx. number of applicants for these slots vs. number of slots?

Thanks for the input! Information can be a little hard to come by :nurse:

maybe if you post also in the military nursing section. best of luck.

You would have to contact the Army program directly or the VA entity that is responsible for the selection process to find out what the exact statistics are for VA applicants(number applied vs. number accepted). The number you are most interested in is the number of qualified applicants that applied vs got in. There are a lot of times people apply that don't have the basic requirements to get into school and it skews the numbers.

I think there is 3-4 seats held for the VA students.
