2023 Applications to UBC and UVic NP program

Hi all,

I've applied to both programs to start in September 2023, and wanting to commiserate with anyone else who is anxiously waiting to hear. Looking back at previous years I'm feeling a bit discouraged since the admissions average seemed to be higher than I had been told by colleagues. Anyhow, let me know if you also applied and when you hear back from schools! Wishing you all the best of luck.

Where did you go to check your application status? Was it myUNBC? I've never taken classes at UNBC so I can't see much when I log in there but did you go to this this url https://experience.elluciancloud.ca/unbc/ ?

Yeah there was a notification at the top, the little bell icon is where it was.

Hi guys, I still have not heard anything from UNBC, has anyone received a letter regarding wait list? I appreciate if someone can share those info here! And congratulations to those nurses who got the offer already!?

I got an email this afternoon to say I was on the waitlist for the part time option.

Thank you for the update! Have you seen a notification before? And do they mention how many people are on the wait list? Thanks ?

I don't have a notification and they didn't tell me how many on the waitlist or where I was on it.

I got an email yesterday.  Waitlisted for full time.  I've already started my TRU program though.

Interesting, I applied for full time and haven't heard anything. I've emailed twice with no response and called the office today and was transferred to the admissions office and no answer it just says to email them. I'm so confused.

I am in the same boat and my last name starts with "Y". I am thinking that could be the reason. What is your last name?

Sorry for late reply. It starts with an M. I even emailed them from my unbc school account and no reply. So I don't know where I stand.

Hi. I've just been accepted into UVIC NP Program. I don't use social media but have made a fb account name of Bobby Brown. Would love to be accepted as could really do with this groups support and look forward to meeting UVIC attendees in the Fall!!

Has unbc contacted any full timers who are accepted into the program? I've emailed 3 times with no reply and no reply to my phone call.

Does anyone know when the deadline is for those accepted into UNBC? I was waitlisted and curious if I'll potentially hear from them soon
