Hi I am new to all nurses and am glad that I am here to at least get some insight on how to get started at the nursing program at Broward College.
My goal is to attempt to apply for the program after I take A&P II lab and the nursing career course in the fall and I would like to be in by either spring or summer of 2012 (or at least try), I wanted to know what should I do as far as Pharmacolgy and Microbiology, do I take them when I am in or while I wait for acceptance how does all this work? Sorry if the questions seem out of order and when is a good time to take the Hesi test and where would I aquire the study guide. Thank you!

Pharmacology cannot be taken until you are accepted and enrolled in the nursing program. As for microbiology, it is not required as a prerequisite for submitting your application to the nursing program itself. However, it is suggested it be completed prior to starting the program given the heavy workload encountered once you are accepted and in the program.
Given my timeline or goal for august when do you think in your opininion should i take the Hesi and apply? Thank you so much for your info?!
