Hi. I'm new to the forum. I am intending to apply for pre-clinical nursing at CUNY for Spring 2011. However, having graduated high school in Ireland over 20 years ago, I have been told I need to have BIO 101 under my belt before I will be considered. Does anyone know of somewhere I can take this class outside of the CUNY system as I would like to get moving on it immediately?
Thanks

DaraDara,
Hi! You can take bio101 at any community college and BMCC offers it. Classes start today, so I'm not sure if you can register for this fall. I'm in the same boat - it took me a year to figure everything out and now am just starting my prereqs Sunday. I've been out of school for 8 years now. It's intimidating out there, but there is always support out there!
Let me know if I can help with anything :)
Good luck!

Thanks. I will look into it but I'm not very hopeful, judging by my experience with city schools thusfar. Trying to get information is like pulling teeth and the websites aren't much help either. I'll soldier on.
Thanks again
