Anywhere hiring new LPNs?

I live in the South Shore area, and I need a job! I graduated in June and havent been able to find anything! I have a completely open availablility, too. I know not many places want to deal with training new nurses...but I have tried applying so many places. We need the money, too. Really bad. Does anyone know of anywhere?

I am in the same boat as you. I have applied to SOOOO many places online and have not gotten any call backs. My advice is to walk in to places- i have gotten 1 interveiw that way- and I also look up the job listings on craigslist and call and see if i can come in to apply. Also, alot of LTC facilities dont put ads up on the job listing websites(except Kindred who doesnt hire new grads) so you just have to walk in to those too. If you can do per diem then I know Bamsi is hiring- and you can find the ad for that on all of the websites such as monster.com. Dress up in a business suit or professional attire with resume in hand. Its hard but I figure eventually something has got to give- and hopefully before I get an eviction notice. Just dont give up- and if you are already a CNA you can always apply to be one at a facility that does hire LPN's- and that will get your foot in the door for when a position opens up. Good luck and I will pray for the both of us!
