Hi! I was wondering if anyone here works at Parkland NICU. What is the work environment like? Nurse patient ratio? Are other nurses supportive and helpful? Did you have to sign a contract? What's the pay like?
I'm thinking of applying but Im still trying to explore my options and wanted to know if this is a good place/unit to be working in. As much as possible I don't want to work in a hostile environment where other nurses are hateful and rude, and I'm trying to fetch ideas. So I would really appreciate any significant info you can share. Thank you.

I wouldn't be surprised if no one answers. Revealing where one works chips away at the anonymity offered by this message board. You'd be better off trying to shadow there for a day to see what the work environment is like than trying to post on an anonymous message board, where you can't even be sure that the people responding are really who they claim to be or really work at the place you're asking about.
