Anyone worked @ Piedmont in ATL??

Published

Specializes in ER.

Hi,

I was awarded the Piedmont Scholarship, and I am still debating whether or not I'm taking it. If I do, I could be commited to working for them for 2 years. I have a few questions about Piedmont, hope you can help......

Do nurses in L&D, Mother/baby, and NICU float through those units??

Are the nurses required to wear certain color scrubs like at some other hospitals??

Is there onsite or nearby day-care?

Were you a piedmont scholar?

What's the likelihood of a new grad getting a position in one of the above mentioned units?

Is there a standard nurse:patient ratio?

Anything else you would like to share about working at piedmont??

thanks for your help in advance

Haven't worked there but quite a few classmates from nursing school went there. I've heard mostly good things. Better than average for the area. I'd think being stuck there for a couple years would be worth a good scholarship.

Specializes in Ortho, Case Management, blabla.

I've worked at 3 different hospitals and Piedmont is by far the best I've worked at so far. I'd definitely say it is a very nurse friendly hospital.
