I'm waiting to get into a nursing program at brookhaven and my first day as a patient transporter is tomorrow. It really doesn't seem like a difficult job or anything, but I'm just worried I'll get lost.
So does anyone work there now or previously?
Any good/bad experiences?

Don't worry, you'll find your way around in no time! I did lots of clinical rotations there, and always had a good experience.

I am in Dallas, doing prereqs & applying online at as many hospitals as possible, but no luck so far. I do have an interview in the am fthough. Can you tell me (specifically or generally) what you make an hour as a transporter? Thank you!

I am trying to get a transporter job too. Can you tell me what they pay? Thanks...
Hey sorry - I hardly log onto this site.
From what I understand it's usually $10-14 an hour.
Hope this helps.
