Hi, I am currently taking my pre-requiste classes at BRCC and I wanted some studying tips for passing the class. I have never taken A&P and I see that a lot of students find it difficult. Is there anything I would need as supplies for the class? Do the instructors provide Pearson for additional teaching? I've seen some students on here state that they made an A or B in A&P, but when I look at ratemyprofessor alot of students did not do well. Any advice would help! Thanks so much!

Hi, I'm currently attending BRCC. I'm waiting to see if I made it into nursing! I took a&p 1 last semester. I'm taking a&p 2 this semester. I made an a in a&p 1 & currently have an a in a&p 2.
My advice is to spend a good 2-3 hours every single day reading and making your own notes. Idk who your teacher is but I've talked to several people taking different teachers and they all say they have to pretty much teach their self.
A&P isn't hard if you stay ahead of the game. Don't get behind. Be prepared. Read the chapter before you go to class, it makes a huge difference.
Teachers are different so I can't say if you'll have extra points or bonus points.
We had A cd we got with our book that had Videos and study material The mastering website is very helpful. Use it use it use it. There are tons of extra things to do on it. There are videos, pictures, worksheets, and quizzes. They aren't assigned but find the time to do it and you'll do great in the class. I found a lot of my test questions came from the mastering quizzes. Also, work the questions in each chapter, and at the end of the chapter. I found that a lot of the test questions came from these. Just work hard and put in the time and you'll do just fine. It's a lot of work but it's worth it.
