anyone a student and work in med-surg?

Hi everyone, im an EN from australia which is the equivilent of an LPN. Im also studying part-time for my degree. Ive worked in LTC for 5 years on and off. I really enjoy working with the elderly, although i really want to be learning some new clinical skills in the hospital. My question is this: would it be wise for me to work 1-2 days in med-surg whilst studying for my degree? would it benifit and consolidate my learning or just be an extra stress i dont need. It will take 4 years part time to complete my degree. Whilst the money would be handy i dont have to have work to survive at the moment. Im also a mum to 2 children under 5. So torn what to do. Thanks for any advice!:)
