I will also be attending Mercy SON Fall 2016. Luckily I already live less than 10 minutes from the Hospital. If you guys end up finding cheaper/ more desirable housing options a little further out, I think a student parking lease is only supposed to be $60/month. Just something to consider. There is also the bus option as well. If you're coming from within the city or not too far out, it would be $2.50 each way.

It was on their website it is like an information session to see the school basically. But it is Saturday at 10:30. If your interested go to the UPMC mercy school of nursing website and the information on how to sign up are on the right hand side.

I just looked at the website to check it out...I actually went to the Open House in April (I thought maybe this was something different) I'm going to try and not be super eager and show up to both, haha! I will say that the Open House is super informative and will get you psyched to start the program. I went to both Shadyside & Mercy's Open Houses and Mercy was much more impressive to me in terms of what they have to offer.

I just have never been to the school and I have confirmed everything but I haven't heard anything bad about the program. I am super excited for orientation in July and for school to start in August!

heyyyyy, i just got all of my application in and finalized today. Hoping to hear back soon, does anyone have an estimate on how long it took for you to hear back?

I applied back in March and in just under 2 weeks I got an email saying that I was accepted and that I would receive an acceptance letter in the mail within the next few days.

I got my acceptance email today and should be receiving my letter soon! Lets go class of 2017!
