Hey Rainbowlvr, I'm taking from looking at your past posts and the fact that I know the Fulton Campus LPN program starts on Jan 7th, 2009 that you are referring to Itawamba Community College. I'm also starting there but I might be in different classes than you because I'm actually going to be doing the RN->LPN Bridge Route via NEON and graduating in July 2009.

Anyways, Good to see someone else from this area on these forums, you really won't find all that many, and I'm not sure why.

Yes, I mean Itawamba Community College. Thanks for replying! I believe you are right about locals not being on here.......

I really wish there were more people from this area on here because this is a wonderful community. I'm not your normal nursing student though, I have more of a tech background than most in this area.. Heck, Right now I'm installing Windows Vista into a virtual machine box on my Ubuntu Linux laptop so I can access my iphone via itunes without having to have a separate system.

I've always thought that someone should promote this website around the health science building over there and get a few more people involved. I ran a small website for a group that went through in 2006 and it was fairly popular until the RN program had it shut down citing issues with liability on the instructors getting in trouble.

Anyways, I wish you the best of luck, the LPN program is pretty tough and you have to stick to it and be prepared for anything. The instructors are pretty much nice but the material is fast paced and fairly detailed. I know you go through ALL of psych with rotations in 3 weeks in June (I'll be in the same class as you then, the two groups join for the summer sessions)

If you need any help send me a PM, I have all this stuff linked through email to my phone so I can reply pretty quickly, or at least within the day.

Take care and Good Luck,

Robert M. :D

Thanks for the insight! I don't know what to expect other than what others tell me. All I can do is my best.. I won't have to work while going through the program so that should help tremendously!
