Anyone who's started a home health agency? Need advice!

I'm wanting to start a basic home health agency - ie, marketing via BP clinics @ retirement & AL apartment complexes. Is there anyone out there who's done this, who can advise me as to what regulatory requirements are involved, required paperwork, licensure for the agency, H&E requirements, Medicare, etc.?

Depends first on your state with their requirements...........

Next you need to incorporate or set up a LLP.

Are you goin gto be the only employee or are you expecting to hire staff? If you are hiring, then you will be paying Workmen's Comp. You also need to have for your agency before many facilties will allow to see patients there.

This is just a tip of the iceberg, see if you are going to be able to see enough patients to even cover your expenses.
