anyone do South University online RN-BSN?

Published

I am looking for someone who took the RN-BSN online nursing classes from South University. I have some questions about the nursing classes, not the prereqs that they offer (psych, speech, etc).

I have several questions about how fast the classes go. are they intense? do you recommend doing 1 or 2 at a time like they offer? mostly papers and powerpoints? what are the classes like?

i am starting a position in the ICU next week, and have to opportunity to start South June 28th. i am not sure if i should put it off until august or not because of my orientation in the ICU. i have plans of getting my BSN and getting my commission in the air force, and would like to get it all accomplished as soon as i possibly can!

No experience, yet, but I just got accepted today!! I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with them. I applied still unsure, mostly to determine how many credits would transfer, and how much my costs would be. I'm also looking at Grand Canyon University, though.

South just seems to be a pretty quick and relatively inexpensive route to go, though. The admissions counselor that I worked with there has been very helpful.

Good Luck with your decision!!

Best Wishes,

Just make sure they will accept ALL your grades. They todl me they would take my credits but then after I enrolled, they decided not to take my A & P and Micro.....(they were from Excelsior)

well, i passed nclex this past week, and finished up everything i needed to do to be able to start south. classes start this week coming up! i decided to do 1 class at a time to start out with, and may go full time once i am off orientation (24 weeks in the surgical ICU). the admissions process went very smoothly, and i was very impressed. so we shall see how it all turns out, or if it was too good to be true!!
