Great to see other Missourians out there!
I am in a BSN program at Truman State University (formerly Northeast Missouri State University) in Kirksville MO.
I am currently in my Psychiatric and Trauma rotations, and I will be graduating in May :)
Since there are a few of us on the boards, are any of you planning on attending Nurse lobby Day on Feb 19th in Jeff City? I will be going with other graduating seniors to speak with our senators. If you are going to be there, let me know and maybe we can meet eachother!
Good Luck!

I plan to start the nursing program at Maryville University in the fall. I live in the St. Louis area. Maryville offers a part-time, evening & weekend BSN program. You have to have all of your prereqs done first, which is what I'm finishing up now. The program takes a little over 2 years, which is fine with me, because I'm not in a hurry and I feel I can better handle a part-time course load. I'm a stay-at-home mom to my 2-year-old son, so I'm glad I found something that would still allow me to be with him during the day!

Just wondering how many of you are in MO. I am attending MO Western in St. Joseph. I just returned to school after about 10 years, have three daughters, and married 8 years. So this is a big adjustment for me. Hopefully I can stick it out!
