Hi guys!
This is my first post! ? However I am always looking on here for advice being a new school nurse. I am in a small-ish High School (450ish students). We use PowerSchool for everything, but I heard about CareDox being used along side of PowerSchool. Has anyone gone through the start up process of using CareDox in their district? It sounds like parents have to input their child's info and I am wondering if there was any resistance or parents just straight up not cooperating with this? Also has using CareDox benefitted (the kids and you as a nurse) or does it create more work? My principal wants me to "up our technology game" here at the high school and I am unsure if CareDox is something worth the trouble or not?

Welcome! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
We use SNAP and I really like it. Compared to Powerschool I think it is much more user friendly! SNAP and Powerschool "talk" to each other for parent inputted contact info which is nice. They sync every night to keep updated.
Thank you!! ?
We actually use SNAP too... but I believe we call it infosnap. We only use it for sports registrations, where parents put in their child's info and can pay the fee. Maybe I am missing out on a whole world of useful tools here? Do you do your daily charting in there? Immunizations? It sounds like I should be in contact with a rep from infosnap for some training. This could be a revelation!
This is the SNAP I'm referring to. I use it for 100% of everything except I'll log into eschool to get additional phone numbers sometimes.
