Anyone part-time at Reynolds?

Published

I've been looking into going back to school to become a nurse. I'm looking at the program at J. Sargeant Reynolds. After reading through the information provided on their website, it seems like they would prefer you to be a full-time student. However, I have a mortgage etc. and cannot quit my job right now to go to school.

Has anyone done their program part-time or can someone give me some suggestions?

Thanks!

I go to Reynolds. They do not have a part-time program. Their nursing classes are offered mostly during the day. They look down on you for working, and they will clearly tell you this at orientation. They would prefer you not work at all. And they will basically tell you they dont give a crap about family ect....nursing school should be you first priority. Now this is not me speaking, its them. They are not very helpful in any way. They are just plain rude on the 5th floor.(Nursing floor) If your not in the program yet, they basically wont talk to you.

Now pre-reqs you can do part time. Online classes are great. I dont want to discourage you. Dont get me wrong, the program is excellent. They have a 97% pass rate. Also check Bon Secours they do have night classes and allow you six years to complete the program. Good luck.

Thanks! I had a feeling that was going to be the answer. I've looked into Bon Secours as well, but it looks like it's a lot more difficult to get into. I've still got a ways to go, so I do plan on doing whatever pre-reqs online that I can.
