Anyone knows about "substantive equivalency competency assessment"

Hello,ALL,

I'm a foreign nurse... I just got the RN registration assessment result ( in Alberta ). It stated that I have to complete a substantially equivalant competence(SEC) foucused assessment in Obstetrics first. Does anyone know about that? How is the assessment? Anybody have gone through that? Pls give me some advice...
