Anyone knows anything about TSJC in Alamosa?

I was wondering anyone knows anything about that school? It is going to be a challenge but I am thinking about moving there and start the program earlier instead of waiting forever (I am on PPCC waiting list and it is just ridiculous..-more than 2 years of waitlist) I know the weather is going to be very cold... but how is the program??? anyone knows? thanks!! :)

I don't know about TSJC, but I thought I might have some good info for you. We moved to Grand Junction two years ago because of the long waiting lists at the Denver area schools. My wife is in the ADN program at Mesa State. They also have a BSN program, but for her situation the ADN program was better. The ADN program is competitive to get in rather then having to play the waiting list game. If you have good prereq grades, you have a great chance of getting in. She will graduate from that program in December.

All in all, it has worked out well for her. She has been working as an LPN for just over a year while she completes the program. So have a lot of her classmates. It is a nice town and I would think the clinical experiences would be more varied then in Alamosa. There is a big regional hospital here and another smaller hospital and they both hire students as CNA's and LPN's. The weather is definately better then in Alamosa.

By the way, her number on the wait list still hasn't come up!
