Hate math, but know I need to to take a stats class, nothing else bothers me, but math....agh! I am assuming I can take a stats class from a community college (much cheaper) and it would apply (hopefully) towards some of the schools I am thinking about for my BSN. Thanks for any info.

Jackson Community College in Michigan has an online stats course. I took it this summer so I can have it done when I go on for my BSN. Most of the homework is done through computer software that comes with the book. I ended up with a 4.0 in the class.
Hmmm, so with the software...could you figure it out, if you don't particularly like stats? Just curious, because I truly don't enjoy math, all other classes, I always obtained A's & B's. Thanks!
The computer software that is used is just Excel with some extra options. For many of the statistics it is a matter of highlighting the data you want analyzed and then choosing what analysis you want to do. The instructor has a personal web page with pictures from Excel of her walking through each type of program. She wants the class to become comfortable with using software for statistics, not knowing how to do it by hand. It is offered for 16 weeks in Fall and Spring and 12 weeks (which I did) over the summer.
Stats is much different than your math that you are used to. There are many formulas that don't make much sense, but what is beautiful is that the software calculates it all for you.
