i read an article here that someone had posted stating he ran his own business selling medical device products from smaller manufactures to doctors and doing well with it , i was curios has anybody ever done this , and if so were you happy with it ??? i live in florida lots of medical stuff happening here , and was considering doing it.. pat

Have never heard of this although it isn't impossible. You would have to be very good at selling to be able to get the products off your hands before the 15-45 day invoice period for payment to the manufacturer was due. Otherwise, for something like this, you'd have to have a very large amt of startup capital.

Am guessing that unless you already have been marketed to doctors before and already have contacts, this would be very dependent on your ability to market and get your foot in the door with the docs. Again, lots of startup capital needed to be able to get past the secretaries by buying the office goodies to eat and pens/notepads etc.
