Every once in a while we'll get info on little programs like washing hands, drinking more water, eating more fruits/vegetables, exercising 30 min a day, walk to school day, etc which are all great ideas but I don't know if it's the way the program is set up or what but everyone starts out excited but then interest fizzles, people quit, etc. Plus some of them like hand washing where you show the germs with the black light have been around so long it's no big deal anymore. I'm looking for something new. It can be about the same subjects-just a different way. Is there anything you do that you have found that works well? The last nurse at the school was big on walk to school day with prizes, etc but I think that alienates the bus kids and kids that can't find someone to walk with them or could be a safety issue for some so I'm not sure about that one. If anyone has any good resource sites that would be helpful too. They must be free or cost-effective. Thank you!!
