Hi,

I am applying for the Jan 2009 class of accelerated nursing.

My background isn't too high. I have a cum gpa of 2.8 and very good references. I have worked in the medical environment for 6 + yrs.

I wanted to know your opinion of my chances of getting accepted into this program.

I've been planning on doing the Accelerated BSN program for a while now, but sometimes "life happens."

I'm starting my pre-reqs in June, and plan to apply for the May 2009 class.

I currently work at the Highland Hospital ICU as a secretary, and was previously working the Highland E.D. as a tech. I've also been an EMT in the area for about 7 years, and did my undergrad degree at the University of Rochester. (I'm hoping these things help out when I apply).

Hello, if anyone is starting the accelerated nursing program at the U of R and wants to purchase books from me beofre they start, please let me know. (I will be gone around May 1st, so this would have to be within the next two weeks) I also have some other tidbits if you're interested.
