did anyone get accepted with B's in undergraduate sciences???

I cant really say how many people have gotten in with B's, but it sounds like you still have your nursing courses ahead of you. So forget about a few B's (which isnt all that bad) and just concentrate on doing well on your nursing classes. It doesnt seem like your family life is something that would easily be changed, so focus your energy on doing what it takes to get that nursing gpa up: get in study groups, make notecards, read the kid chapters from your nursing textbooks to get him to go to sleep every night (kill two birds with one stone!) Just the fact that you are thinking about getting into CRNA school a few years from now puts you ahead of the game.

Yes, possible to get in with B's. I think they focus on your nursing courses, personality, abilities and accomplishments! Making A's is not the most important thing...it's being good at what you do!

thats awesome and very comforting i might say, what was ur GPA and GRE scores? How many places did u apply at and where did u get interviewed and accepted?? how much experience have u had and what kind??? thanx

My cumulative GPA was 2.8, I took the MAT-45. I applied and was accepted to Bradley University/Decatur Memorial hospital in IL. I start next month. My experience includes 2 years regional burn center, 2 years general ICU and 2 years Cardiac Intensive Care..

I was accepted into both programs I applied for and I made B's as well as a few C's in nursing classes and some science classes. When applying that worried me that I wouldn't seem competitive, but they really do look at the overall picture. I did decent on the GRE nowhere near what I wanted. I have been an ICU nurse 1 year and 6 months. I went into the ICU knowing I wanted to become a CRNA so I made sure I learned as much as I could. I was accepted into Georgetown and Raleigh School of Anesthesia so I got into some really good programs. All schools are competitive so I would say know what your weak areas are and be ready to explain them then let them know what you are willing to do to be successful in THEIR program.
