Anyone currently attending Georgetown's program either FT or PT. Was talking to hubby and since I only have 16 mo left of my GI bill he thinks I should apply to FT program with Georgetown. I"m nervous about that, and know from talking to the admissions rep I'll have to quit working for that time, but I think it would be a great program based on what I have seen so far. Just wanted to get some insight from current students.
Thanks!

I am starting the PT FNP program at Georgetown on November 10th. I used up my GI bill doing LVN-RN and RN-BSN but my husband is going to sign over some of his to me and I have been approved for a private student loan and federal PLUS loans. I wish I could stop working and do the FT program, but I plan on working full-time (36 hr/week) while in school. Good luck!
thanks! Same to you! Nov 10 is just around the corner! I'm hoping for a april/may 2014 start date. I still need to do my video essay but get so tongue tied when talking to myself on webcam LOL. I hope my goal statement is good enough too. Do you happen to still have both of yours save? I do not want to copy or anything i just like seeing examples. How much $$ did you have to take for th PT program? I thought if using GI bill it would cover the tuition as they are a yellow ribbon school and had to drop the tuition down to match GI payments??? I know I shoudl qualify for a federal student loan up to 20K but hoping i won't have to take that much if i get accepted. I haven't even been accepted yet and hubby keeps telling me I will be so he bought me a new computer for school today =) with a 23 in screen because he watched that video showing the synchronous class, and was like "you need a big scree to see all that" LOL
