Anyone ever work for Medical Solutions?

I am starting to research different travel agencies, as I am interested in going into travel nursing starting this summer (get out of the 120 degree temperatures of Phoenix and go somewhere a bit cooler!) Anyway, I found some good reviews on Medical Solutions, but I am never sure who writes these reviews. Has anyone worked for them? I spoke to a recruiter, and she SEEMED very nice & very helpful, but I am not signing anything without more feedback from others!

Thanks, Terre

Hi,

I did two assignments with them. The recruiters are helpful and highly motivated. Also, they keep in touch to find out how things are going throughout your assignment. Downside of group: no medical insurance is super expensive. Your hourly rate is reduced to 9-12/hr and nontaxable money is inflated. So potentially, this is a risk for an IRS audit/red flag. I recommend evaluate your individual needs. They helped me maximize my income, but I hope I don't owe the IRS next year.

Good Luck,

I worked an assignment with Medical Solutions. As with above post, my recruiter stayed in contact and was very accessible. It is a low taxable rate (keep all your receipts related to the assignment) Taking the stipend helped with my net pay. My recruiter Brad is very honest and personable.

Good luck.
