Anyone else in limbo right now????

I know there has to be at least a few of us that have gone through the grueling application process and then the lovely (yes, sarcasm) interview process all to just be put on hold for what seems like an eternity. How are you guys doing while you're waiting to hear about acceptance? I probably check my email every 15 mins and get panicky when I'm using my phone in case I accidentally miss a call from the school.

The saddest part about this, I interviewed only this past week and I have no idea how I'm going to make it until that call/letter/email comes through.

Any tips or advice to take my mind off of this? I'm glad I actually picked up an extra 12hr shift this week to help me focus on something else.

I waited a month before I found out...several of my classmates waited SEVERAL MONTHS before finding out. It happens, get a hobby, go to the gym, and try to keep yourself distracted so you aren't tied to your phone every 15 mins for possibly the next few months!

I think this will be easier said than done, but I will do my best. I have two more interviews coming up so that will help take my mind off of it temporarily.

YES! I just had my interview on Tuesday and its ALL I can think about! I just want it so badly and I keep dissecting the interview and driving myself crazy, it's definitely much easier said than done to distract myself. Good luck and hoping you and I both get into our programs. :)

The wait was horrible between applying and then being told no interview. I have two applications that are due August 31st/September 1st and I'm back to the waiting game to see if I get an interview. A 4th applications is currently in the works as well. I don't know know the feeling of interviewing and waiting to hear back but believe I will be there soon.

It's funny how things work. I get accepted at one school and then in the same week get invitations to interview at 2 others.

At any rate, its not fun waiting...!

What school did you get accepted to? What schools did you get interviews to? If you don't mind me asking.

UPMC Hamot is where I got a position offered and I accepted. Starting in January.

I also had/have interviews for Arkansas State and Case Western Reserve.
