Anyone a Certified Diabetic Educator?

Are there any CDE's out there? If so, did you receive money from your job before passing the CDE? And after? I'm trying to figure out what is a reasonable amount of money to expect. I guess it depends on the state, but I'm just trying to get an idea.

I am a CDE. My facility did pay for the my certification exam and I received a very small pay increase following certification. If you would like more information about becoming a diabetes educator, I encourage you to contact the American Association of Diabetes Educators at www.aadenet.org there is also a link from their site to the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators where you can learn more about the requirements for eligibility to sit for the exam.
