Anyone attending Orlando Tech???

Published

I went to orientation this morning at Orlando Tech. The school looks nice and the admissions process is easy. I was hoping that someone who has attended/is attending can give me some feedback about their LPN program.

Thanks!!:wink2:

Hello,

I actually posted a question about this in the Florida forum. I don't have any information about the school but am looking for some also. If you find out anything please post back.

Thanks,

I start in January 2009 (part time). I'm expecting a letter from them telling when is the date of the orientation.

Honestly, I dont know what to expect from the program in general. The few things that I know comes from this forum.

Specializes in hospice, pediatrics, substance abuse.

I went to orientation there in May but their class was already filled for August so I went with TECO in Kissimmee because there was no waiting list, it was a bit cheaper and I had heard better things about their program. Two students in my class went to Orlando Tech and didn't have very good things to say about it. But that is just going on heresay I don't know personally. Hope this helps some.

Caringtouch,

In general, what have you heard about the program?

Any info would be appreciated.

Specializes in hospice, pediatrics, substance abuse.

giginorma,

The two students in my class that went there said that the textbooks used were really old and outdated. They didn't feel like they could get help from instructors if they needed it or didn't understand something; and they didn't feel prepared to start clinicals (more so than just first time nervousness). But as I said I didn't go there personally so I am only going on what was said to me.
