I have recently finished the pathophysiology and transitions for RN's online courses for the NP program at USF, I'm also taking some less $$ courses (online) at local comm. college (2 semesters of spanish and one of chemistry). I did above courses (patho and transitions online thru USF, just never committed further to clinicals at this time, wanting to take as many courses online as possible 1st just to make sure NP is what I want, everything went well with the courses and they're very doable. I've never met with a counselor 'cept over phone, so really don't know what's involved in setting up clinicals. I guess I have committment phobia to going back into classroom (I believe there are classrooms labs required thru NP program. I live 1 hr North of Tampa, and work pretty closely w/2 NP's currently that did USF NP program. One NP seems to be very happy w/USF and other one says she could've recv'd. better education from UF (I think that's the one she plugged), but more $$ were involved, so she couldn't afford it.
