Anyone applying to UTHSCSA Fall 2017?

Hi!

I will be submitting my application for Fall 2017 within the next few days. I also applied to Baptist Health Systems SON Summer '17 and just heard I was accepted. I'll be attending Baptist if UTHSCSA tells me no. I'm excited to hear back as Baptist is only an Associates program.

Do you feel confident with applying to UTH?

I haven't submitted my application just yet, but I will be doing so soon. Congrats megmchambers on being accepted to Baptist. I've put all my eggs into UTHSCSA's basket. Needless to say, I'm hoping everything works out with them. I feel fairly good about it, but you just never know... Good luck to everyone!

I JUST submitted my application for fall 2017 UTHSCSA! I also took the TEAS 6 this morning and got an 82. I am nervous because my GPA's aren't all that. Just curious, what are yall's gpa's and what institution did you do your pre reqs at?

I took my Teas 6 just over a month ago and got an 84. My Science/Math GPA is about 3.43 and Cumulative is 3.54.

I took most of my Pre-reqs at Texas State and some at Alamo Community Colleges.

I took the TEAS 6 about a week ago and scored a 93. My science/math GPA is 4.0 and cumulative GPA is around 3.8. My prerequisites are split between an out of state school and Alamo. Unfortunately I have no prior healthcare experience/ volunteer hours. I'm still working on my application questions. You're lucky dago_10, now it's all about the waiting game. :)

I have also put all my eggs in basket and only applied for Fall 2017 at UTHSCSA so really hoping I get accepted. I have pretty good GPAs but did not do as well on the TEAS as I'd hoped for. My test score was an 81, my math/science GPA is an 3.75 and my cumulative GPA is about a 3.65.

I did submit my application in November. I completed my pre-classes at Alamo colleges. Same here this my only school I'm applying to.

Do anyone know when we will get notice of accetance?

I have received multiple emails saying we will be notified by March 17 5:00PM.

I thought my thread was ignored lol

I sent my application in Jan 30th, I got an email today that my application has been received and reviewed and we should hear admission decisions prior to 5pm on march 18th.

This is the only program I've applied to and I'm so nervous!

I did almost all of my prerequisites through the alamo colleges .

My teas was 83.3 so we will see , I wish I would've scored higher! Good luck everyone !!!

I thought I had done good on the TEAS with my 82 but everybody in this thread either did better or equivalent to me

My math & science GPA is 3.25 and my cumulative is 3.55. I honestly don't feel confident at all.
