Anyone applying to GHC for Fall 09?

I am thinking about it. I will only have two sciences done though so I may wait and apply for spring. Goodluck!

I am. But I'm having a hard time figuring out the application because the classes I'm in now won't be over til after the application deadline.

Call the director she is SO sweet! She will walk you through it!

I was told by several people that have turned in their applications that they are no longer requiring that worksheet to be filled out. Apparently they have to go back and redo so many themselves b/c they are filled out incorrectly, they just decided not to require it any more.

Porcha, I do have all 3 of my sciences done, but I am currently taking History and Nutrition and will have to do my elective over the summer. So, I'm crossing my fingers that that doesn't hurt my chances. I turned in my application the first day that Spring classes started, b/c I wanted to get it over with.....it is so stressful worrying about it! They have cashed my check for my application fee.....good or bad? Hopefully, it is good....but then again it might not mean a thing. Anybody else for GHC in the Fall 09?

Porcha, have you been following the posts that PreRn Katie has made? She was in Micro this past fall with me...really sweet and smart girl. She got into the accelerated RN program at GHC (Spring 09...right now) , and I've been watching her posts just to see what it will be like. The last one I saw that she posted was a lengthy one about how she cries every night and how overwhelmed she is. I feel so sorry for her...and then again, I feel sorry for myself b/c I know that my time is coming and I will be crying too.

Don't feel rushed. The apps aren't due until the end of April and they're not gonna penalize you for mailing them April 1 as opposed to February 1.

I'm applying for it as soon as my transcripts arrive at my place. I've been to 5 colleges before, so I'm a bit of a nutcase when it comes to transcripts and i would rather mail them all as a box set. I'm in A&P II and Micro this semester and once those are done I'll be set.

Katie seems like the type of person that can get things done. I hope she'll pull through. Good luck everyone. :)

Do Or Do Not.... The application deadline for fall admission for the nursing program at GHC is April 1, not the end of April. By the end of April, the students admitted have already by chosen. :wink2:
