Looking for others applying for BSHP for Spring of 2017. Haven't come across any active groups yet. I have pretty low Teas scores but a good gpa. Not sure it will be enough to get me in. May wait and retake to get into fall. Anyway, I am scouring the internet to find any and all answers. Guess, I'll have to wait till next week to find out my fate!
tamarajb56 34 Posts Sep 27, 2016 Hey! I'm so happy I found your post. I made one too but no one commented. I applied for the spring semester as well. I, too have a low teas but high gpa. I've been looking at other forums from last semester and it seems as though they got their letters 12-15 days after deadline. If I'm right then we would hear something by Friday.
Bekahjk 29 Posts Sep 27, 2016 Hey Tamarajb56, I think that is correct. It seems like they are on time with sending out their acceptance/denial letters. I'm glad you found this post. It seems like it's pretty quiet around here as far as people commenting on post about BSHP for this semester. I am sure there are lurkers out there, they just don't want to say anything. I applied at SAC as well. I'm hoping to get into one of the two at least. If not I will re-take Teas just to up my score a little and get that more competitive. Seems like the Teas VI might be slightly easier. At least for me being able to use a calculator would be great. ha! Good luck to you!
tamarajb56 34 Posts Sep 27, 2016 I've applied to Sac as well. At first, I was thinking well maybe they don't have a lot of students who applied since no one responded or made a forum.í ½í¸‚. I'm hoping I to get in so I won't have to take the teas again, that test gave me all types of anxiety.
Bekahjk 29 Posts Sep 27, 2016 yes, it is not something I want to take again either. There is a lot riding on it so it does cause a lot of anxiety. I'm checking my emails constantly for any updates. Where did you take your TEAS at?

Bekahjk 29 Posts Sep 27, 2016 Are you trying to do the day program or nights/weekends? I applied for the day program. I took mine through Baptist from St. Mary. Have you gotten any emails for fingerprinting? I noticed on other threads they got notices for fingerprinting once they had taken TEAS for Baptist. I never received anything.
tamarajb56 34 Posts Sep 27, 2016 I was reading about that but I don't remember given a choice for day or evening on the application. It really doesn't matter to me, I just want to get in and finish. I would have to figure out child care for my kids tho. I didn't receive and email on finger prints. Did you pay to get your results sent in to Sacs or did you just upload it in the application?
Bekahjk 29 Posts Sep 27, 2016 I just uploaded my results. I will be in the same boat trying to find child care for my four year old. He will be in school next year so, only for one semester.
tamarajb56 34 Posts Sep 27, 2016 Aww mine will be 4 next week. Since they were born late in the year, I would have to wait till 2018 for kindergarten.
