Anyone apply for nursing program at chattahoochee valley community college for fall 2016?

Looking to hear from others who have applied at CVCC for nursing this upcoming fall. I am waiting on my letter in the mail....

Well I'm getting more nervous and anxious everyday! We should be receiving letters real soon this is the 6th week.

Yeah! I know, and I am the same way. It's been really bad since June 1st hit. Do you know anything about if there is a cut off score or what not? I have looked at previous years & there has been that's why I am asking. I have been trying to rack my brain about it all.

I talked to the lady in the office when I turned in my app and its completely diff this time they are lowering the cut off points and accepting more students because the Lpn and Rn programs are combined now to make just one nursing program. That made me feel a lot better lol but now im just ready to find out already!!

Yes! That makes me feel better too. I was freaking out when I saw cut off scores. I'm hoping it'll be really soon!

How many points did you apply with if you dont mind me asking?? I only have 135 but being that the cut off was lowered to accomodate the Lpn's im hoping I have enough because the 2 yrs before the cutoff was 140 something.

I have 140.5 or something like that. I'm sure if they said they are lowering it that we should be fine. I'm hoping at least. I'm glad I found this, it really has been bothering me. When I turned my application in I asked the lady about the understanding of TEAS V scores and she said I did very well on them and that my points were good. Just wish I knew right now.

Yeah you def should get in because i know the cutoffs shouldbe lower than 140. Well hopefully we get in and be starting nursing school together soon!!

I am sure you will too. I have a feeling the cut off will be around 130-135. I just think they will lower it that much. I hope so too. It'll be nice to have a friend already. Haha
