Anyone apply to Linfield, OHSU, LCC (Portland / Eugene) for 2010 start (summer/fall)?

Not finding any old threads, so thought I'd start a new one. I applied to the Accelerated BSN at Linfield and at LCC since that's where I live. Chickened out on OHSU. But still would love to hear other's stories on applying or acceptance etc. when we all here which hopefully will be soon (they start sending out notices on April 1st for Linfield). \

I'm going to try and post a reply to my own thread because up til now the site won't let me reply to anything, then it says to click on admin help, and it said I don't have permission to get help either. Weird.

but I can post new threads, go figure

There's a big thread going on in the Oregon forum about acceptances for OHSU.....not sure about Linfield and LCC though.

I saw it, but I can't respond or interact. The system won't let me post replies to anything but my own thread. Maddening. I post and the spinner/progress thing just keeps going and will never post the comment.

Beyond that, I'd like to hear from LCC people - they are mainly talking about OHSU & portland schools in there.

Are you still having trouble posting in the Oregon threads? I saw that you were able to post in another forum. If you are still having trouble and are unable to post in the Admin Help Desk, please post here.

As of a few minutes ago it let me post a comment in another thread. I don't know why it changed all of the sudden. I've been trying for the last few weeks w/ no success.

It's back to not letting me post again. I'm wondering if there is length limit on text. My messages aren't novel length, but it seems to happen when I try to post a longer message than just 1 sentence.

I applied to Linfield as well! I know were not supposed to hear anything for a while but it is frustrating waiting it out. Did you only apply to schools in Oregon? I also applied to a few in Nevada, Arizona, and one in NY. No word yet....

No out of state schools yet. That will be plan B. I have a house here and with a crappy housing market am stuck. Stay in touch to say where you got in. I'm contemplating University of Rochester in NY for plan B, only because I did my undergrad there (and it's a great nursing school) - but it's 2000 miles away and very expensive which stinks, but no one can beat a 14 month program.

I read in last year's thread the responses from Linfield are received about mid to late month because they just begin to get them going April 1st. Also Accelerated BSN people hear first. I should hope so considering I think they'd start in May. That's really pushing it notice wise if you're not right in Portland.

I hate waiting. I wish they could just email if it's a reject.

I just got my acceptance to the Summer 2010 start at Linfield..... pretty sure I am going to accept.
