I am anxiously awaiting the response from Santa Rosa Junior College on whether I'm in or not for their nursing program. I cannot believe how ridiculous this is. Every other program in the area has sent out acceptance letters and we're STILL waiting! It's driving me crazy! Anyone else out there in the same boat? I'd love to meet others that are going through the same thing.

I have not heard either, though I have already committed at another school. It a shame they can't process their applications faster. I might have chosen SRJC if I had heard form them in a reasonable amount of time, but all other programs asked for a commitment months ago. Considering the standards they hold their students to, its embarrassing they can't be more efficient and competitive with their application process. I mean, people do have to give notice at jobs and often relocate . . . it's a LOTTERY, they could at least tell students their number so they know if they have a chance or not and could prepare accordingly.

I am also waiting too ! Last time I didn't hear till the 28th, of course it was the rejection letter. I have a WHOLE lot ridding on this letter ( or email) and now I'm getting so so impatient !!
Amberleena, thanks for your reply. I just got my rejection email a day ago. Did you get in?
Amberleena,
That must be so frustrated. This is only my first time applying to the program and I'm already feeling fed up with them. I have a friend that didn't make the 80%, but she got in this year on her first try. I know I should be happy for her, but I'm not. It does not feel fair. I don't understand why they stress that we get these grades if they let people in that don't qualify.
In your case, I don't see why the W didn't fall off yet if that's what they said would happen. How many times have you applied here? Are you planning to apply anywhere else? This time around I'm going to apply to College of Marin, Mendo, and Napa. I'm also going to get my CNA this next semester. I'm really excited to get my feet wet in the field. I feel like it will help me out when I do get in somewhere.
