  1. I did not get in based of the 80% cut off score. It's directly related to the "W" I got in anatomy in fall 2006. They said it would fall off after five years so I figured this year is when It should be off. I don't know why I still got below 80% as I calculated my score before I applied. I'm devastated, numb and hopeless. I'm sorry you didn't get in as well. I saw a counselor which was a waste of time and meter change and I wrote a email and left a message for Donna Green who sent the emails. I will write what she said.
  2. I am also waiting too ! Last time I didn't hear till the 28th, of course it was the rejection letter. I have a WHOLE lot ridding on this letter ( or email) and now I'm getting so so impatient !!
  3. That's probably a good thing you haven't heard cause maybe you got in then !!!! :) All the non-acceptance emails went out today and maybe tomorrow will be the acceptance email :) Today being Tuesday...
  4. Just got my rejection email Im so sad a numb. Does anyone know if they filtered out the people who did not meet the minimal requirements? You need a certain GPA and such to even qualify to get into the lottery. I'm almost 99.9% sure I met the min requirements to qualify but in some freak mistake maybe I didn't?? Would I still get a lottery number?? That's my big question.

  6. Hello, I also applied for the fall 2011 ADN program. I've been trying so hard not to think about when I will get an email from the ADN... but lately I've had my heart jump out of my chest when I see SRJC email me, then it turns out to be for the elections! BOO ! I haven't heard about how many people have applied this time around. In 2010 I heard close to 500 people applied? Is this wrong? I just assumed why would it change? But the hardest thing for me is that I'm planning my whole life around getting in or not and that's just tearing me up inside. I applied once before but my application had something missing and I didn't get in. *head-desk* I really feel like it is all luck now, if it was based on anything else I might have some control in the way I thought my chances could be. Question: Do you think if someone filled out their application wrong that SRJC would send it back to you? I think with all the money budgeting that they couldn't afford to mail back each application package that had a error on it. But I mailed mine in on the day applications were open to turn in (oct 2) and now i'm becoming paranoid.... ack! Guess thats the nature of the game.
